Delete account and associated data

For the mobile app “Fishing Log – Catches & Spots” (Google Play / App Store), you can request deletion of your user account and related data from the developer. Please use only the email address below and follow these steps.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to the address below from the same email you use in the app. If you must use another address, state in the message which email is registered in the app.
2. Use a subject line such as “Account deletion request” and clearly ask in the body that your account and associated personal data be deleted.
3. We will confirm receipt if needed and process your request. For follow-up questions, use the same address.

Data covered by deletion

When your account is deleted, we typically remove or anonymize: account details (e.g. email, display name from Apple or Google sign-in), your in-app content (spots, catches, photos, notes), and data linked to your account—where technically feasible and unless law requires otherwise.

Retention after deletion

Backups or system logs may retain fragments for a limited period (typically up to 90 days) before they are rotated or purged in normal operations. Data we must keep to meet legal obligations (e.g. accounting or tax records) may be stored longer; where possible we limit this to the legal minimum.
